Azureus (now called Vuze) is a java-based torrent client used for distributing large amounts of data. This peer-to-peer file sharing application downloads files quickly and efficiently with intelligent bandwidth, queue and speed management. Azureus uses a special peer-to-peer based content distribution system that breaks up large files into small pieces and distributes them in parallel across the network, allowing these pieces to be downloaded from many computers simultaneously. Azureus´ universal media player enables you to play any torrent without the need to download a separate player.
